Update-Science-Behind-The-Pimpin

The Supreme Court in New Mexico will listen to arguments on a case I wrote about awhile back involving a former president and professor of prestigious universities and their dealing in online prostitution. If you haven’t already, go read Science Behind The Pimpin’ ,parts 1 and 2 and then come back to this story so you’re all caught up on the details. Back to the present—the debate over sex-work and the internet continues to flourish as the media and the general public tries to avoid the inevitable. People are going to pay for sex. On a street corner, in the back of an alley or in the back of the strip club in the Champagne room, people want the option to purchase sex. Fast forward to 2013 and sex-work is illegal in most states in the U.S and frowned upon in the few paces where it’s legal. I hope y’all pay attention to cases like this and voice your opinion. If you leave the decisions up to the squares, sex-work will stay stuck in a box. With the invention of the internet in the late 70’s, all the way until it started booming in the mid 90’s, online sex-work had a home. From the very first clunky looking web cams, dudes always had a way to get their online fix. I advise all Sex Workers to take advantage of the legal opportunities available to you online. Legal experts have said, “Federal laws offers wide protection for the operators of websites on which Sex Workers advertise their services. Chris Garcia, 72, a former president of the University of New Mexico and David Flory, 70, a professor at Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J are charged with being involved with Southwestcompanions.info, an escort service that allegedly was a front for prostitution. Both defendants denied any wrong doing. New Mexico‘s District Judge, Stan Whitaker ruled in the favor of the defendants last year by stating “a website or computer isn’t a house of prostitution.” Finally a judge who understands! Of course the District Attorney’s office appealed. Keep your eyes on this case. The right to be a professional Sex worker on line is constantly being attacked. Make sure you obey all laws on land and online. Get your money smiling but be safe and stay sucka-free! Know-It-All SexWorkerTalkRadio.com
