After a year of investigating 57 year old Ignatius D’anna, the District Attorney’s office charged him with five counts of bribery. D’anna allegedly offered officer Ferrero five-hundred dollars every other week to protect his prostitution business. If this is true, the lame deserves to be arrested. Did he really think an 18 year veteran was willing to risk his job and pension for a measly 250 dollars a week? He might have been better off sending a chick at him because Sex Workers have been known to make a blind man able to see (or vice-versa—you get my point, rah?)250 dollars is an insult, but a beautiful woman might temp Jesus!
My point is this, if you’re running a sex-worker related business, be aware of the consequence beforehand. If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. From what it looks like, D’anna was only facing a state charge at best, if he wasn’t willing to man-up when the cops came then maybe he should consider a tax paying occupation. Screen the people you work for. If you’re not on the same page, then go to the next chapter.
