Kristen Davis, the famous madam that claims former New York Governor, Elliot Spitzer as one of her clients (which hasn’t been proven) knows how to stay in the spotlight. After announcing her decision to run for comptroller of New York City back in July, you would think any and all questionable behavior would cease. But Sex Workers and those that employ them are known to live on the wild side so it should come as no surprise that Kristen finds herself in another high profile scandal.
This time she made it to the major leagues—the feds. The last time she got a slap on the wrist for running an escort service and spent four months at Rikers Island jail. Word of advice to Kristen and my Sex Workers faced with similar situations. You better have your bread (money) up if you want to tango with the feds. Not only will they deplete your funds and then take your remaining resources, they will put your ass away forever or something close to it.
Kristen was set up by a rat who she had a relationship with in the past. She allegedly sold this person prescription drugs, not knowing he was working as a rat for the government. This case validates my point. Crime ain’t worth it. How can you beat rats telling on you? You can’t. Stay legal. Don’t give those rats nothing to tell on. Sex-work has plenty of money and legal ways to get it.
