Another Dating Site Mis-Match

As much as society hates Sex Workers, cases like this shows just how much sex-work is needed! Match.com, the famous site for those looking for online love, finds itself facing a 10 million dollar lawsuit brought on by a Las Vegas woman. Mary Kay Beckman, a 52 year-old Sin City resident met Wade Mitchell Ridely on Match.com. She had her first date with him back in 2010 and broke it off a week after dating him.

Supposedly Ridley couldn’t take being rejected and began trying to thug her out over the email. I’m sure we all know some email thugs who talk tough over the internet and make threats. If you know of a stalker/email thug, don’t take his/her threats lightly. Ms. Beckman claims on January 21, 2011, Ridley hid in her garage until she came home and stabbed her 10 times before the knife broke.

Ms. Beckman’s suit claims the dating service duped her to believing she could find a stable and loving relationship. Even though Match.Com is not particularly sex-worker friendly, I have to take their side. Ms. Beckman can’t blame them for the weirdoes she might come across online. It’s part of the online dating game. Take the best and leave the rest. Don’t bring strangers to your house. Wait at least a year before you think about revealing personal information to someone you met online.

I hate to brag but Sex Workers know not to get personal with tricks they meet on or off line. Ridley was arrested a month after his attack on Ms. Beckman when he killed Anne Simenson, 62, another woman he dated after meeting her on Match.Com. The stupid deranged asshole, Wade Mitchell Ridley, committed suicide in prison last year. He had no prior criminal history. Be safe at work or play. Trust, but check anyway.
